Robbyn Alexander led the first Traveling Postcards event with five women who are friends and artists, and who have been working creatively together for years. The focus was on their mothers and on the healing bond between them and between all women.The results were an extraordinary act of heartfelt creativity and generosity. Each card includes a picture of their mother and a written story that depicts the essence of their relationship.
Although it seemed difficult to let these beautiful expressions of love go, the group donated all their postcards to the women of Malawi. Their donation was made in honor of their deep connection to each other and to all mothers and daughters across the globe.
